People when come in business (they start a company) they
have no idea that branding that company to their name will increase their
business income. They think that branding will have no effect on their business
and they can earn without branding their business.
But, examples from different times tell that those people
were wrong. And branding the company can have high impact and a positive one,
on the company itself.

Let’s explain, How?
Think a company with a logo and without one:
A company without a logo looks more of a local shop. Most of
the shops that are found on the corner of your house do not have a proper
banner placed on top of them and not even their name is available on top. This
means that the shop can and a company that is not having a brand is just the
same. Because that shopkeeper is also providing its services and the company is
also doing the same thing.
What the brand do to a company?
Starting the brand:
The brand of a company changes everything. Ask how… The
brand of a company makes that company professional. Let’s have the example is
of the same company that was being explained above. That shopkeeper was told by
his son (who goes to school) to name his shop. The shop keeper named his shop
‘Have a look’. In addition, a banner of the name was placed on the top of the
shop. His son, who goes to school, is good with drawing, so he made a
illustration for have a look by himself on a chart paper. The shopkeeper placed
that chart on top of the shop.

Reaction of the people:
People, who were also the neighbors nearby used to take
things for consumption from that shop. When they saw that the name of the shop
is ‘Have a look’, it was memorized by them the same instance.
Once it happened that a bus filled with schoolchildren was
punctured near the shop. The driver called the mechanic and said that he is
near the shop ‘have a look’. The mechanic came looking for the shop and also
the parents of the children. They saw the shop as well as their children. And
as it was hot they got drinks from the shop.
Attracting the customers:
Days went on passing and the shopkeeper ‘have a look’
started another shop with the same name in another part of the city because he
was having profit from his first shop. People their found out that the ‘have a
look’ shop is another branch of the same shop. And as the human nature is… they
started trusting that shop more. The shop keeper when find this out, he
installed security cameras and other technological items in both the shops.
Re branding:
When people saw that, they became interested in the
remodeled shop and started visiting more frequently… The shopkeeper then opened
more shops in different parts of the city, he bought a warehouse in the suburbs
and also started a delivery van service. The first shop became the head quarter
of ‘have a look’ company. The shop keeper himself became the CEO and his son
became the director of ‘Have a look’.

Printing Brochures:
They kept on expanding their business and thought of re
packaging their ‘have a look’ company design. The brochures of the company were
published and were sent to different companies and to the homes of many of the
customers. They also started adding those brochures in the boxes they packed
for booked orders of the customers.
Distributing Visiting Cards:
Visiting cards of the company ‘have a look’ also were
published and were given to people who the employees of the company meet.
When more people started finding out that a company sells
general items and delivers them to their houses free. They started acquiring
their services.
Generating new ideas:
The son of the shopkeeper was a clever one… he thought of
trans Atlantic delivery system (the first of its type). So, with the permission
of his father, he bought a ferry and started loading goods from America and
started sending it to England. The Englishmen loved the goods.
They bought two more ferries and started a delivery service
system across Atlantic. The system included that all companies could send items
with a 5% payment to the delivery service.
More profit:
As this was a good offer, so people and those companies who
were not having their own ferry service started acquiring the service.
Leads to more ideas:
They still are thinking of new things that can be added to
the system. In addition, some of the things include buying a plane and starting
a passenger service across Atlantic.
This was just a simple story that tells how companies can
take advantage of the branding. In addition, how they will be without branding.
